On July 1, 2026, we held the opening ceremony of the TSUKISHIMA HOLDINGS ASEAN R&D CENTER, the first overseas research and development facility established by the Tsukishima Group. Approximately 40 guests, including customers, shareholders, and members of the media, attended the event.

During the ceremony, we introduced the various testing equipment installed at the center as well as the technologies developed and accumulated by our Group. Guests also participated in a guided tour of the facility, where they observed live demonstrations using our pilot-scale equipment. The tour highlighted our integrated research and development capabilities, ranging from laboratory-scale testing to pilot-scale trials, as well as our technical expertise in process development.

On the following day, July 2, we participated in the Open Innovation event hosted by Thailand Science Park (TSP). We delivered presentations and conducted guided tours of the R&D Center for visitors, primarily from companies located within TSP. Through this event, we received inquiries from several companies regarding testing opportunities, marking a successful first step in expanding our technical proposal activities in the ASEAN market.

The R&D Center serves as a hub for supporting our customers' research and process development. We provide comprehensive support throughout the entire development process—from laboratory testing and pilot-scale validation to the implementation of commercial-scale production facilities.

Through this center, we will further strengthen our technical proposal capabilities across the ASEAN region while contributing to the resolution of our customers' technical challenges, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and promoting the realization of a more sustainable society.
